Terms of Service

Last updated: 4 November 2026

Welcome to WeightStory. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the WeightStory mobile application (“App”), provided by Venkat Karthik Vadlapatla, based at 1st Floor, H.No 3-4-1006/1/3, Barkatpura, Hyderabad 500027, Telangana, India (“we,” “us,” “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using WeightStory, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

WeightStory is intended for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to use this App. By using WeightStory, you confirm that you are 18 or older.

2. What WeightStory Does

WeightStory helps you track your weight, intermittent fasting, hydration, and BMI in one place.

3. Not Medical Advice

WeightStory does not provide medical advice. BMI results, time to goal weight estimates, fasting timers, fasting stage labels, and other information in the App are for general informational purposes only and are not a substitute for professional medical guidance, diagnosis, or treatment. Consult a doctor or qualified healthcare provider before starting any fasting or weight management program, especially if you have a health condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or take medication. Do not use the fasting features if you have, or have had, an eating disorder.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

WeightStory offers the following purchase options:

The Monthly and Annual subscriptions include a 1-week free trial if you have not had a WeightStory trial or subscription before. The Lifetime purchase has no free trial. Promotional offers, such as a free month for an invited friend, may replace the free trial. If you do not cancel before a free trial ends, billing starts automatically.

All payments are processed through Apple’s App Store or Google Play’s billing systems. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. To manage or cancel your subscription, use your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies; we do not process refunds directly. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

5. Invite a Friend

Monthly subscribers may receive a limited number of invites to share. A friend who has never had a WeightStory trial or subscription gets a free month instead of the free trial when they choose a plan with an invite within 30 days of it being sent. When they do, the inviter also gets a free month; on iPhone, the inviter claims it in the App. An invite is used once it is sent, whether or not it is accepted. Rewards have no cash value, are non-transferable, and we may change, limit or end the program at any time.

6. Your Data

Your data is stored on your device. On iPhone it also syncs to your own iCloud account (on by default); on Android, to your own Google account if you connect it. You can delete your data at any time within the App. Our Privacy Policy explains how your data is handled.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the App, attempt to reverse-engineer it, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

8. Changes to the App and Terms

We may update these Terms or the App from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection laws where you live.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute arises, we encourage you to first contact us to resolve it informally. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India. If you are a consumer in another country, this does not take away any mandatory consumer rights you have under the laws of your country of residence.
